Do you offer prints?
Yes! Pricing varies upon what type of prints you'd like, and how many.
When can I expect to see our images?
Depends on the amount of time put into the session, how many extra files you purchase with it, and what edits/retouching might be requested/suggested.
I.E. If we do an hour session and you purchase 5 photos, it could take anywhere from a day up to a week.
Do you travel?
Yes, I travel anywhere within 10 miles of Norwalk, Iowa at no cost. I am willing to travel to further destinations with travel fees. Travel Fees TBD.
Do you deliver every image you shoot?
No, I do not. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. For example, because I shoot with low apertures, sometimes I take a few extra shots to make sure I have the perfect focus. I don’t expect you to have the expertise or the time to zoom into each image to select the one with the sharpest focus, so I spend hours doing that on my end. For example, candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images from the day. Unfortunately, they can also yield some unflattering facial expressions. I might snap a few extras of any of these moments to make sure I have a great shot with the ideal expression for the moment.
Do I have a studio?
At this time, I do not have my own studio. I have recently moved, and I'm in the process of investing in a studio. Until then, we have options of using others' studios if your session needs to be inside, we can do in home sessions, and outdoor sessions.
Do you edit/touch up all the images from each session?
No, I do not. Depending on the session I can take anywhere from 100-1,000 photographs. I will have an ala carte option to purchase all images from the session, but otherwise I edit/touch up what is included with the session you invest into, and any extra files you'd like to purchase as well.
